i just installed my ls vtec motor in my car and it won't start. me and a mechanic buddy checked alot of stuff just wondering what u guys think it could be. we have spark and fuel and the timing is on. im trying to start it with a stock single cam computer do u guys think it could be that.

 

it'll start with any ecu, it just might not run so great.

I'd double check your firing order, make sure the plug wires are on in the correct order.

If you have all that there is no reason why it should not start. That PGM main relay can be a tricky Biatch sometimes. check to make sure that is running okay. Any engine codes at all?
