hey whats up guys. I have a 1990 Honda civic that I wanna do a engine swap on it. but what engine is better ? I have a D16A1 right now . I wanna go fast, with *****. I wanna surprise other when they pull up to me. what engine should I go with?

 

You want to go fast? Everybodys concept of fast is different.

What power goals do you want? Budget? Turbo or NA? B or D? these are some questions you should be answering first.

 

well I ended up buying a Zc engine , I had to stay automatic cause my girl cant drive manual.
I hope it has more power than my d16.

 

The auto kills the power. My brother has a OBD1 DOHC ZC Auto and the trans is horrible. The trans shifts at 6000rpm and kills the powerband. Other than that much better than the d15b7's he's had in it. I personally have a z6 and it's gutless compared to his car.
