iat or iacv connection

just finished removing a obd2b harness and installing a obd2a harness into my 98 civic to power a b16a and have a small wiring question. It appears my iat and iacv have the same connector but i only have one wire long enough to reach either. Is there another wire i am supposed to extend and should there be an extra plugs not connected to anything?

your IAT and IACV should have different connections on them.

The IAT should have a square plug and your IACV should be round, unless of course the IAT plug has been changed.

The IAT should be located in the intake tubing whereas the IACV is on the back of the intake manifold.
