The metal pipe joined with your crank case vent is known to corrode and leak. You could also have a hole in your rad.
Also, check your oil. The coolent you found might be from a leak but at the rate you are loosing it I bet you head gasket is cracked... when this happens your coolent gets into the oil and sit in the oil pan.
Why don t you fill it and run it to locate the leak ?

just check for the hoses since most of the hoses are coming from the tranny side anyways. check the two big hoses first, then check the medium hoses that connects to the heater core, after that check the hose that connects to the throttle body, and then check the hose at the back of the intake manifold where the iacv is located. and oh yeah don't forget the thermostat housing, cuz you might have crack gasket but its unlikely to happen. good luck.

if the head gasket has a crack, then he should be blowing cloud of smoke and eventually overheating.

well today on my way to work, i get to work, park the car then i see a small puddle of fluid, i pop my hood and see coolant all over ( rad, tranny,) so i left it then went to work, i thought it wasnt that serious cause it wasnt that big of a puddle, so im finished work, i start driving and everything ran fine, as im into 15 mins of driving, my temp gauge kept rising, so i pull in somewhere quick and stop the car, it was going to start to smoke if i didnt stop the car, so i pop the hood and check again, coolant all over again so i check the hoses, i find that one of the hoses was like melted, when i was squeezing the hose, i could hear air, so i had to get it towed to my house, and when it got off the tow, i started it and it started but when i tapped my brakes, they felt a little soft
