I have a 97 Eclipse, blew the engine on the way home from London in November...
It has a 420a engine in it, does anyone know where I could buy another 420a????

ahaha yeah i considered a 4g turbo swap but its retardedly expensive, and i just want it back on the road for summer so im going to get another 420 swapped in because thats what i can afford right now lol

and i have check tiger a few times nothing has came up tho

You can do this swap and use your tranny but get the turbo computer with the engine to run it properly does'nt get any cheaper then that.

 

No he cant bolt a 4g63 to his tranny... 4g63's sit on the drivers side aswell as the 420a trans...

Have you tried Club DSM Canada?

You will save alot of money buying one from a board member as opposed to an importer.

I got my motor on that forum, 99 7 bolt turbo motor complete for $400. with 75k Miles. not km's

Importers wont sell them for less than $1200.

Goodluck in your search. make sure you see some compression numbers too before you buy anything.
