No spark after swap, got fuel, computer power all fuses good, IM LOST.

Hey everybody, i hope some one can help me out. Here is the situation, bought two EK hatchies, The first one is a '96 Cx and the interior is almost completly burnt out of it, and it has An LS/Vtec engine in it that had been converted to obd1, and i drove it home without a flaw, ran perfect, vtec engaged, pulled hard. And the other Civic was a '98 Dx that had been in a light front end collision, air bags were deployed and it didnt come with an engine, but the car was RUST-FREE, interior was in good shape, so the plan was to put the LS/Vtec into the '98.

So i went and started up the swap. First I removed the complete engine and tranny from the '96, harness and all. Then i proceeded to put the engine and tranny into the '98 plugging everything in. So i hopped into the driver seat and tried to fire it, nothing. Troubleshot it, to find fuel, computer power, relay clicking, and no spark. So I checked all the fuses under-dash and engine bay to find all of them good. So then im thinking distributor, so i pulled it and tried it on a freinds Gs-R, and to my avail, it fired his car. so now im puzzled.

PLEASE HELP! ANY INPUT IS APPRECIATED!

yes, all grounds are accounted for. would the air bags being deployed in the past have anything to do with it maybe

Make sure you sand off the frame where any grounds are. They might all be accounted for but the one from the valve cover and the one to the frame rail above the tranny both need to be sanded for good contact.

So you have no spark and youve checked putting the plug to the frame? Because you said that the dizzy is good on someone elses car? So thats kinda confusing? Possibly your plug wires?
