quick n00b swap question

quick n00b swap question

now when your swapping a b18 in a civic
i know you use the integra shift linkages
but for the actual shifter.. do i use my civic short shifter?
or do i have to rebuy a short shifter for an integra ?

I remember on my old integra the shifter off a civic didnt work becase the pivot point [the weight/ball] was higher up causing the bottom of the shifter to hit the exhaust, so i would assume since its in a civic, it should be fine.

Ideally you want an integra shifter, however a civic one will work with a few washers.
