swapped motor?

swapped motor?
how would i know if the previous owner did a motor swap or not? i have a feeling it was but im not sure.

swapped to a different engine completely would be easy to tell with basic engine code. ex d16y7.. if its the same motor put in you will have to look up the vin #

Check the engine code on the block right beside the header. What kind of car is it?

^Yea thats the wrong engine for the car I do believe, but either way your not missing out on much. Just drop a B in there and call it a day haha

D15b is jdm. Unless you have a jdm right side drive, its been swapped.

thanks alot. i do plan on swapping to a b16 but thats not going to be for awhile. if i swap do i have to worry about anything like emissions or insurance?
