Where did you guys get your engines and please write what your overall experience was? Was the engine missing parts? did it blow up when you started it? Worn, bad engine? Oh also list the engine you got.

 

i havent go an engine..YET but i heard torontojdm is really good and reliable its one of our affiliates so ya

 

B16a in a 94 EG6, installed by Defcon. The only problem i had was about a week later. The wires on the alternator were a little dirty. So, Dave @ Defcon cleaned up the wires within that hour. The best service around. Doesn't burn oil, even @ 8,000 rpm. It has been a year and about 12,000km.

Dave and Joee are awesome dudes to deal with.

 

I hear a lot of negative things about Tiger Japanese, but I bought my jdm itr motor there. I removed the head to inspect it before I installed the motor, and found it to be the cleanest jdm motor I've seen. I would buy from them again.

 

+1 have bought b20,h22,b18c,b16a,from tiger japanese and all have been mint no problems whatsoever and is cheaper then others because there not trying to be all we have ricing motors and mark up the **** out of them lol, like some places wich i`m not going to metion but you know who you are!

I'v never replaced mine..

 

I got a few from totaljdm. You just have to check all the engines you get. For example, check for sludge, do a compression test, check all the wirings if they're good, etc... Im not talking about just totaljdm, Im talking about every stores that are out there. Plus, kareem gives you a really good deal, sometimes it comes with a really nice header aswell.
