Hey guys,

Cars dying at stop lights so im thinking i need a new distributor.

Im looking at a used distributor from a 1.6 L SOHC Vtec 98 Civic SI.
My car: 99 Civic EX

Will that distributor work with my civic?

NO it will not fit.

96-98 has a big square plug with 9 wires

99-00 has a smaller rectangle plug with 8 wires

you NEED a distributor from a 99-00 civic SI.

PHewfff, thanks for clearing that up man. Seller was telling me it would work.

Now wheeeere to find a used distributor for my 99 civic.
Any recommendations in the GTA? nothing fancy needed.
