ZC sohc swapped to D15b

I ended up putting in a D15B replacing my ZC sohc, I did the wiring on the injectors , swapped my Intake manifold and Wired the distributor, Car seems to be running OK. But I still have the odb2 96 civic Ecu P2P. Will they work together Or am I in for some problems in the future?
thanks

Ok after reading some old posts it looks like my best bet is to grab the P08 ecu, Can i use my stock harness for my p2p odb2 ecu with a odb conversion or do I need whole odb1 p08 harness?

all you need is an obd2a-obd1 ecu conversion harness and the obd1 p08 ecu will plug right in.

If you can't find a p08 you can chip a p28 and run the p08 program on the chip.

Would it be worth finding a P08 and getting it chipped like spoon, mugen or chrome? or are the results not that substantial, I wanna keep it NA as its my daily driver and I have a turbo car for the sunny days

if your gonna chip it anyways, just get a p28 it'll be cheaper.

So i just order the spoon (or whichever I decide) chip for d15b and chip the P28 and I am good to go ? I read somewhere you can get either auto or manual ecus and it doesn't matter because you can jumper them to be either one, sounds a bit far fetched, any truth to that ?
thanks guys you've been a lot of help thus far

As long as the chip you order is programable it doesnt matter which one you get. If its the JDM Vtec D15b that you have, you can even just run the p28 without chipping it. I put my spare p28 on his d15b when he put it in because he had a non-vtec engine and ecu in there before. Runs great. Automatic ECU's can be converted quite simply. Going the other way around is a bit harder but can be done. Just make sure if you chip it to put a p08 basemap on the chip.

don't order any "spoon" or "mugen" chips from ebay. Who ever is chipping the ecu for you will provide you with a program on a chip. They will be able to set the vtec and rev limit to where ever you want.

Here at HiVelocity Tuning we have chipped hundreds of ECU's for customers over the years and always recommend whats best in terms of programming for your ecu, and trust me, "mugen, spoon or vision" chips aren't whats best IMO.
