Venom Injectors

So I'm just trying to get all the parts together to round out my turbo install so I will be ready for tuning when the snow melts.

I know I need saturated injectors around 440cc.

Found these injectors on summit racing just wondering if anyone has used them and what they though.

I know zeeman will not agree but a lot of people run DSM injectors. Much cheaper and they are 450cc. Only downside is you got to make sure they are flowing well and are not cracked.

i used to have venom injectors. never had a chance to use them, sold them to gallagher, and i'm pretty sure he never got a chance to use them either. injectors are pretty simple devices, you can't go wrong with any of them i think... zeeman might disagree since there are issues of pintle and nozzle design that affect fuel atomization and all that, but i don't think there is much to be gained or lost there. just my opinion...

to me, injectors are injectors for the most part. The more important thing is getting the battery offset table settings dialed in properly with the tuning software.

I'm not a fan of using DSM's b/c they can have like 300,000kms on them and not all flow the same, causing inconsistancies under certain conditions. This isn't just with DSM's its any injector with that kind of mileage on it.

For what you'd pay for the set of DSM's and to have them sonically cleaned and flow tested/balanced, spend just a little bit more and you can have a brand new set of injectors that are either peak and hold (like DSM's, meaning requires a resistor box in 92+ civics/integras) or saturated.

Wiring up a resistor box in the 96+ civics is a PITA, so saturated injectors are nice.

Another option for a 300whp or under setup is taking your stock 240cc injectors into a place that services them and have them clean them and increase the flow out to 440cc's. This is also nice for OBD2 cars since it saves you from having to wire up obd0 or obd1 style injector clips AND the resistor box. I know for sure that Eurodrive in Burlington does this.

Injectors are injectors until you use the Injector Dynamic injectors. They're a saturated 750cc and 1000cc injectors who's flow increases, as the fuel pressure increases. The idle quality is unmatched for injectors this size (1000cc or larger), but they are very expensive injectors, something like $120 each injector or so.

Well Zeeman, your going to be doing the tuning and such on my car. If I get these there's not going to be any problems. As far as I can tell they are saturated which is what I want to get. Just makes the whole procress simpler like you said.
