On my way back from someone's backyard after night shift,
I was driving my 6 Gen. Accord. Crusing at around 140+
A previous gen Hyundai Accent flew by me, I was wondering...how fast it was going...so I floored my car, 170...180, 200 Km/h...holy ****..that Accent still pulling...then I shut down after I reached 205, because I am using my winter...don't wanna kill myself...

Surprise..surprise! Wondering what is the top speed of those hyundai...

Anyways, just wanted to share!

i don't think that a stock accent is capable of such thing, maybe it has a turbo or something else that's pretty amazing

 

depends on what height you drop it from..

 

my friend has a 99 hyundai accent and he cant go more than 180 km/h so it obviosly wasnt stock...

 

was it like a nice blue cause if it is its turbo

Accent isn't a bad car overall, best bang for the bucks IMHO.

If you like to watch WRC, look at those Hyundai, they fast and solid!

Elantra had won few races few years ago.

hyundai's are not bad cars at all a buddy of mine just drop a turbo on his tiburon and it's freakin fast man.

 

drove one last nidght ...base modle...not fast but it cherped it's 13's and kept up with a kitted and droped civic in the next lane...

as a tuner i think you should all know that my hobbie is to make people in porche's look at my toyota and say WTF WAS THAT

what make you thing that some guy out there dons't own a hyundai and feel the same way about honda's...

drop a turbo in just about any car and it'll be fast

 

if that blue one you guys are talking about is the one I know, its got a talon motor in it with a turbo. and the motors fully built. hes even got a maple leafs sticker on the rear window, but thats a 4 door and I dont know if its an accent or their other model... ahhh what was it called... anyways, hes got white rims on it too. i'm sure someone on the board seen it. i'm sure thats capable of those speeds, but an accent... could be!

 

i had a 95 accent 5spd.with 200km
and lost to stock 90 civic cx stock 5spd. 230km

 

That's not possible....My 89 Civic cutoff at 195, good experience tho!
