Ontario Place Auto Cross Oct 16th
Hey Guys,
Hada motorsport club (hadamotorsport.com) is hosting an autocross on Saturday Oct 16 at Ontario place. Registration opens at 8AM to 9:30 - first car hits the track at 10:15. This event is open to all cars and all experience levels. Spectators are welcome to watch. Here's the event flyer:

For those who are unfamiliar with Autocross racing (also known as Solo2), it's basically a legal timed event where cars race through a predetermined pylon course. Emphasis is on driver control and car setup. It's grassroots motorsports at its best and is the most economical form of motorsport out there. Driver's quickly learn car control, turn in points, braking points, apexing etc - all skills that cab be used to make you a better driver and that you can later apply to road racing or Solo1 (timed race track events).
PM me if you have any questions. Hope to see some of you out there!

Are there any more left after the 16th? I promised Steve I will be at his shop that day so I don't want to let him down. If there are more, I am seriously considering change my suspension and go rock them a few times.

Yeah, there's one at the Bronte go station on the 17th. WOSCA also has events that go through the winter, rain, shine, snow, sleet whatever. They're a blast! If you go to Hadamotorsport.com on their event calendar is a good listing of events throughout the year. There's also a good calendar on wiredmotorsports.com. The WOSCA events are in woodstock - for dates check one of the calendars of go to wosca.com.
