What the hells' that supposed to mean?? Whoever always says that, has to be half retarded.

About those sunfires, are the GT's still coming with those lovely dual plastic(or whatever that ugly black material is) exhausts???

I remember the good ol days of TCC when we didn't have so much fighting and arguing and people actually acted civilized on the boards, and didn't act as if they were God.

Now I get this feeling. WHY?

Because I see people all the time putting down everything and anything that they feel isn't the "cool" or "fair" way to do. So what if its an auto, is it all that bad? Tell that too the millions of people who drive auto each day and love it, makes their life a whole lot easier.

So you drive a manual, and he has an auto? Whats wrong with that? Just because you chose to manual and maybe he liked auto, does it make it that less of a race?

Respect what others have, and spent their time and hard earned money on. If he chooses to drive auto, and likes it that way, and you want to race him and he wins, accept the fact that he spent the money to modify his car a certain way, and may the best man win. WHy you always have to fight.

Domestics? Imports? There all forms of transportation right. There is no right or wrong one to drive, we all have different tastes, we should respect that.

I drive a civic, but I have no problems with any other cars, heck id own a mustang, or camaro in a second just the same.

Think about what you post next time, maybe we can all just get along under this one roof.

there are quite a few street legal auto lt1's doing 9's eh, respect

i respect everyone here, never "fought"

even if i see a rusty car, and effort has been made to modify it, enginewise or look-wise, heck even if the person loves bragging about his car, i'll accept them as an enthusiast

Hmmm, I'm joining a little late. But since I'm bored, here I am. Well, muscle cars are better auto, especially for a woman, cuz it's stomp and hang on. No skill involved. The skill is best saved for baking cookies and so on, not for driving. It's been proven that women do not have dimensional abilities, ie. they have a hard time orienting in space. That's why so many women just can't park a god damn car, and end up bashing into mine instead.

My buddy has a Dakota R/T with a high perf torque converter and shift kit, and that thing kicks ****. It's very cool. Autos have their place.

For FWD, just check out Level 10 performance for auto buildups.

Auto trannies are extremely consistent, and limit wheel spin, which we all know can win or lose a race, especially bracket racing. I also know a Volvo C40 with Ohlin external oil reservoir suspension and a $30K USD engine, with an auto. The lady kicked **** in Solo 1 because her lap times were so consistent.

Stick is fantastic if you know how to use it. For us 4 bangers, it's the best way to translate hamster power into forward motion, but for V8s, they are obviously not concerned with efficiency in any way. I mean, a 5.0L Ford makes a whooping 225 horses, at it's best, stock at the flywheel. The 1983 Ford 302 made 150 horses. Hahaha... I should know, I used to own a 1990 LX coupe 5.0 5 speed. Ran high 13s with very slight mods.

Just cuz you own a Saleen doesn't mean you know anything about cars, or that you can't get spanked. WRX spanked Saleen...I witnessed it. Golf VR6 turbo spanked Porsche GT2...I witnessed it. Civic spanked Corvette, yup....I witnessed it.

Id say it means a hell of alot. Considering im willing to spend that amount of money on something, its a passion my friend, and passion breeds knowledge.

I dont claim to know everything, I claim to know alot. And thats all I gotta say, If you want respect, come to the mile, we will work it out there.

I don't care to have your respect...only my own, and to respect myself I need to do a little more than stomp on the gas pedal for 1320 feet. Drag racing...it takes as much skill as chewing bubble gum.

Oh crap, did cosmic see this...
