tonight was awesome... i had a sub par cart for qualifying so i finished i think 18 pr 19

then in the pre race i smoked cart on the straightaway so i got black flaged... so i got sent off and started in last place for the real race

then in the race i smoked another car only this time no black flag or nothing... during this impact i fudged my alignment... then later in that race i spin cause my alignment was so bad and then got stuck in the mud and then finished last

fun times all the same

heh that was a fun nite.. .remember what bob said.. you can't win if you don't finish... I guess u did finish but barely

It was a good nite.. the weather was decent... the track was sticky... my only complaint was that guy passing me on a yellow and not getting called on it... made me finish 4th instead of 3rd potentially...

Oh well it will only get better I think as people understand the rules more... and quit passing before the pilon on the first turn

if you guys crave more speed and are wondering about the rotax, all i can say is, it's crazy fast, and u better be in good shape.

i was averaging 75 km/h on the big track, w/ top speed @ 96 km/h. (thurs was my first time out)

neck muscles are ULTRA important.

are the rotax karts basically the same thing were in now w/ a beefed up motor?

is that picture of the track (s) one huge track or two seperate ones.. and what exactly are the fees the membership is now 99.99 to register but what else do you have to pay throughout the races?

$40 for neck brace... then you have to pay for your last two events... but if you attend all of your races you get that $80 back (i think you can miss a couple but not sure of the number)... other then that you just gotta get some gloves.. and bring a jacket and pants for racing days... no sandles...

other then that its $40 an outting which is well worth it when you consider your getting a lot more race time then you would paying for those rental cars... and the carts themselves are a lot faster

yea it's cost effective.. 100 to sign up.. 80 dollar deposit u get back and 40 per outing... and if you go on a slower day ie a friday you get much more practice time than you would on a sat/sun... it's a blast..

your put in weight classes, and you have 2 hrs practice, 5 lap quailfying, 8 lap pre race and a 12 lap race... there are transponders to keep track of lap times and you get points through out the season which can be tracked on the website... really decent setup
