i just got a killer deal on a B16A2 and curious what my motor will be worth ?

1998 DX coupe
engine, tranny, ecu - really anything i don't need will be included
171xxx kms - 80 % hwy km
oil changed every 5,000 km
tranny fluid changed at recommended km
has an intake
this engine still runs strong and i will get a compression test done upon sale

the only thing is the timing belt and water pump need to be done again that i don't really want to do !

i'm thinkin price wise of $600 for everything
i know some people will leave some wise cracks and s-hit keep it to yourself

Just do a search in the classifieds and see what other people have been selling there motors for, 600 is way too high for a d15b7 300-400 is more reasonable.

Nah It will prob take some time just be patient. I sold my b18b it took almsot 2 months.

you do a lot of driving. But still a good price. there was a guy a while back selling just the motor from a 96 dx with 70K km for $400.. thats without everything else though so your price is reasonable

yeah i drive up north every weekend , so mostly hwy km
my work is only 12 km from my apartment so ....
prolly thread it up after i do the swap

From my experience I think 300-400 just because of the milage and that its a DX motor. Si SOHC Vtec motors go for 500-600 so a DX would be less. But sell if for whatever someone is willing to pay for it...All the best with the sale...
