1993 Honda Civic DX Coupe:
Description:
Colour: Purple
220,XXX km on the body
Moon roof
Suspension: Stock
Brakes: 2001 GSR brakes front and rear (rear disk brake conversion)
Engine: 2001 USDM GSR motor (installed by Paul Bhawan of Splitfire in 2003)
- engine has just over 50,XXX kms on it (engine had 19,XXX kms when installed)
Drivetrain: 2001 GSR transmission (no grinds)
ECU: JDM P30 ecu
Intake: GSR AEM cold air intake (red in colour)
Exhuast: 2.5" Tanabe Race Medallion cat-back exhaust
Wheels: OEM 14" Silver Honda replacement rims (bought in 2003) running on snow tires at the moment.
Extras: Tenzo front strut tower bar & a Trust shift ****; also a brand new catalytic convertor; Clifford Arrow III alarm system with actuators for door locks.
Emission tested December 2004 and passed with flying colours. Comes e-tested and certified.
The car has rust on the passenger rear quarter panel (2x1) and the passenger side rear bumper is slightly hanging off its clip. These are minor cosmetic problems, other than that, the rest of the car is in great condition. Car also needs an alignment. I haven’t had a chance to go since swapping the suspension back to stock.
Very few kilometers have been put on the engine, as another project took precedence over this one. Engine pulls very strong and the transmission doesn’t grind in any gear.
I pulled off a 14.6 at St. Thomas with semi-bald tires (and a lack of drag racing skills).
