Your friend's car doesn't have the dvd player wired probaly. The installer needs to run two grounds, one regular, and another one for the brake switch ground, this way your dvd only plays when your handbrake is up.

I geuss so, im just relaying whats happening....but OAC very good point, what is the difference between DVD and navigation...he should use that in court.

I got caught with my sunvisor screens on and if he got 6 points he did something else as it is a 110 dollar ticket and if you take it to court it will get thrown out cause the screen must be able to recieve television signals to be classified a TV and Data screens and LCD displays are perfectly legal your friend is gettin screwed i sat there and told the cop to **** himself and still got off
