95 Civic H/B, Red, 5spd, 300K Body, ~20K on JDM D15B (130hp) engine swap 1.5 yrs ago (I think the engine already had 70K).
No accidents, org owner. Lots of rust rear quarters - needs new metal, stone chips, minor dents on body. Tires will need replacing soon.
A/C no longer blows cold air. Clutch/water pump/rotors/brakes done ~260K. Rad replaced just before eng swap.
All pipes after cat converter and muffler replaced at time of engine swap.
The Bad:
Rust. Rotors need to be resurfaced, pads need to be replaced (~$200) and two rear signal light-bulbs need replacing.
Rear wiper motor not working. Last oil change at Parkway Honda resulted in re-tap of oil pan drain plug because they said the bolt was stripped – they recommended replacing oil pan (~$500) which I never did. Now oil pan has slow leak – needs ~1L every 1000Km. Interior needs good cleaning. Car has squeaks and rattles, more noticeable when cornering.
Summary:
Good beater car. Engine still runs great and fun to drive.

Both passenger and driver rear quarters are bad. I would say 2/10 condition. Both have hand size area that is rusted as well as along wheel well. Both sides rusted right through metal.

haha...you sure commute a lot... 300K for a 95 hatch...
i already consider my thing high 260K on a 92 hatch..... (i guess its not that high after all haha)
well, post some pics of the rusts and underbody...
and the a/c is leaking or it needs recharge?

t_dot_sir, thanks for the tips regarding A/C problems. I remember the installer asking about hooking up the A/C system so I'm assuming that he did. Unfortunately, I had the eng swap done in the winter around Christmas time - so I couldn't tell if the A/C was working or not.

lol u gotta get someone to change the title... title says only 20km on motor... i was like damn... thats really low... then in here its 70km... i dunno still looks like a good project car for sure... good luck man..

My bad about the title. I guess it should read "90K engine" since engine already had 70K on it when swapped. Even the 70K is based on "blind faith" since I had no way of telling actual K when I bought it. Anyways I'll keep this thought in mind if I ever go through this process again. Mute point for me now though
