hey there I got an AC for an appartment or small house or whatever.. it needs to sit in the wall.. its too big for a window.. if you have lived in an apartment before you know where the seleves are to set one on.. this is what its for.. but I suppose you could install it into a wall in a house too.. its 9000BTU bought in 1995 for $1000 and well maintained annually since.. all the papers are there.. its in good shape..
