chipped ECU for sale
Item for sale : a DX ecu, (p08) chipped
Price: asking $200 OBO
The ecu has been chipped with a P28 skunk 2 rev limit is 8900 rpm, it is also a plug and play for sohc/dohc v-tec motors

well u dont need vtec but u need a new chip, if u wanna run it in a non-vtec, and thats where i come in, i chip ecus, and other stuff.....but to run it in a 98 u need a harness converter, which i do too...

yes the p08 will plug directly into ur 92 si and the p08 was chipped with a p28 skunk2 program so will work with v-tec motors only (unless u rechip it and put back a stock program in)
a stock p08 will only work with non-v-tec motors, dx, cx etc, but is made to work with a dx motor!!!!
do it kinda answer ur questions(lemme know)

with regards to the gas milage, im not to certain, but the air/fuel mixture is increased to get that little bit more power so it definatly will consume more fuel then a stock ecu
