since the motor did over heat there could be a plethera or other problems with the motor

yeah its only $50 to plain the head. he drove the car from the scene of te accident to CT which is 1k not even it didnt get that overheated.

The bottom end and head are still fine according to the macheine shop.

Im not sure, Throw out a offer and I will tell him and see what he says. I know he payed $1200 for the block then payed for the parts. So you shoot me a pm with a offer or post it here. I will ask him and we will go from there.

ok but i need to know that year the block is and also the block has already bine rebuilt twice?and why was it rebuilt?what was changed?.................really interested but don't wanna buy it and have to send to get it rebuilt

98 type r bottom, it was rebuilt because the bearings scord the crank so, new bearings new crank and while he was at it getting it rebuilt why not spend the extra little bit and have it all re-done. Anyways it is sitting here. If you are serious PM me with a contact # and I will give you the whole run down on the thing. Ok thanks.
