Thumbs up FS: Subaru impreza '99 2.5RS coupe $8,500

I am very to bring this car up for sale. The reason I am selling it is because my mechanic is suspecting that there is a problem with the Head Gasket. So the price to repair is around $1,500. I got no spare $ to fix it, so I must let it go! This car has a new engine replaced at 42,000km, and since then I am babying her up until now. I have treated her with the best syn. oil starting from around 80,000km (mobil 1, and now REDLINE). Both the left front and rear bearings had been replaced in last year summer (2004 August). New brake discs for all four corners in 2004 October. Add on top, a new set of Michelin four season tires installed just before this winter. A new timing belt at 140,000km. Changed the trans. oil reguarly at every 60,000km. Where as the front diff oil, and rear diff oil at 30,000km interval. This car has a minor visible scratch at the left rear bumper, and one part of the left side skirt is missing. The side skirt cost around $120 from the dealer, and the rear bumper can be a cheap fix too. Other than that, it's a great condition vehicle to drive. Smell fresh too!!!

Specifications:
-it's now 202,000km, (but it actually only had 160,000km since a new engine had been replaced at 42,000km)
-world rally blue
-1999 2.5RS coupe
-Automatic
Upgrades:
-short ram air intake w/ KNN cone filter (a custom made heat shield to avoid sucking up the heat from the engine, so it's kinda like a cold air intake)
-mr. josh light weight pulley
-front strut bar
-Whiteline adjustable rear sway bar 18mm-22mm
-Whiteline rear endlinks
-Whiteline heavy duty mounts for the rear sway bar
-Cusco rear lower arm bar
-Goodridge stainless steel braided brake lines
-torque chip v.2.8 (great increase in HP/Torque)
-Luigi's grouding wires
-BONUS: Hyper Voltage System Type-MR (cost me $300) to those nice to deal with buyers

Price: $8,500
Price is negotiable, so please offer me the quotes. It's a reasonable price since the car can last for a few more years after you fix the head gasket. Better than to get a $12,000 same age subaru with around 100,000km - 130,000km on it since it has a great potential of this same head gasket problem. My car comes with a good list of basic mods, so I think it's good for a project car too! Please PM me if your interesting.

up for sale:

Torque Chip V2.8 for 99 Subaru Impreza (pm me for the price)

Hyper Voltage System Type-MR (pm me for the price)

3 bottles of Redline 5w30 ($30 firm)

Mini-Z rc cars:

Mini-z (w/F-360 shell and a new beetle shell)
comes with many set of tires, wheel ball bearings, alloy rims, alloy wheel nuts, ball diff., springs (3 settings), king pins, carbon fiber H plates for adjusting the rear suspension (3 settings), front camber set (3 settings), toe in and toe out rods (3 settings), blue screws, www.min-zracer.com Neo Magnet motor, front strut bar, turbo (come seperate. requires soldering for installation), light set. Most of these are genuine Kyosho parts. I spent more than $300 alone on this little machine.

Mini-z F-1 (w/Mercedez shell and Jordan Honda shell)
comes with many set of tires, wheel ball bearings, alloy wheel nust, ball diff., springs (3 settings), king pins, carbon fiber rear suspension plate, toe in and toe out rods (3 settings), rear shock set, heat sink, kyosho x speed motor, blue screws, bumper. With the turbo added, I have tested a speed of more than 30+km (Notes: the turbo is not included). All of these parts are genuine Kyosho, so I have spent much more than $300 on this machine again since the parts are SOOO expensive.

Now, I will sell it together for $200 firm! These cars are in RACE condition, so don't expect a mint condition of the body shells and the chasis. Don't worry though, they are still running great! The shells do protect them very well so these little cars are able to withstand many hits without breaking any of the internal parts.

Please PM me if your interested! Thanks for looking.
