FS: Turntables for those who want to start DJing *PIC*
I have 2 Stanton STR_60 turntables for sale. They have been in my basement collecting dust. These are perfect for those who want to start DJing, or just to sample music.
Comes with slipmats, dust cover, original box. adapter for those smaller vinyls. They are like new, maybe less than 50 hours used max
They are in excellent function and cosmetic conditions. Needles are not included.
This is a direct drive deck, not those crappy belt driven ones, so the torque is a lot better. The lights come standard in blue, unlike those Tech12s that shine red. The tone arm is STRAIGHT, it is designed to reduce skipping if you skratch or do any funky stuff with it
Asking $600 for both
Call 416 816 8293 for Tony or PM
Location in Markham

$600 IMO is a bit steep for the str8-60 used...thats what I was quoted for new ones last year, the str8-80's were $800 new...I opted for the 1200's (only cost me $1000 for a mint pair)

yeah i have to agree with the crowd.
i got a set of 12s for 1000 basically new with needles,
i think you should be looking for more in the 300-400 range

Tek 12's are unstoppable. Stanton's are a nice for the beginner though. If you learn to scratch on those tables you'll sound twice good on a set of teks.
Cheers, good luck with the sale.

Price drop to $500 for the pair, hows that? Get these if you dont want to pay twice the amount for tech12s!
I paid over $1000 brand new. Still have receipt....somewhere.
