Type: Viper 300. I believe that it what it is, need to check the box. It is the one that only has 2 buttons. Button 1 for alarm/disalarm, button 2 for silent mode.

Purchased Date: Sometime in mid 2001

Condition: Good. There are sand and stuff in the siren, due to mounting position in engine bay. You gonna get that with any sirens facing downwards.

Package: 1 siren, 1 alarm brain, 2 alarm remotes (1 is completely new, never used since day 1. The one that I have been using all these time is still good, original battery still!), I do not know if the LED red bulb is there, I need to check. But either way, it is a small thingy, and I would recommend you to get a larger LED bulb for a brighter effect.

Advantage: small, easy to install entry level alarm. Has fuel cut-off. If your car doesnˇ¦t have autolock, it will still work unlike some others that have to have the autolock actuators.

Disadvantage: 1 way alarm, doesnˇ¦t have new features such as remote start, no LCD display.

Reason for selling: I just had an upgrade, so selling this unit. I was gonna run 2 alarm system but it wasnˇ¦t recommended.

This unit has never failed to response, works very well. It is definitely not the best alarm, but if you are on a budget and want a working 2nd hand unit, this is the one for you. Everything is there for install, and I believe I can find the original box that came with it (if I canˇ¦t, please donˇ¦t kill me).

To answer a couple questions. First of all, this alarm will definitely work with autolock. If your car has autolock, it will disarm the car and also open the door for you at the same time. However, I am not sure if this will only open the driver side door or all doors. I believe it should open all doors.
