last time I was in nyc I was shopping on canal st and all of a sudden all the stores decided to close up at 4:43, im like hmm thats a werid time to be closing stores and kicking out tourists. I walked up the street to see 4 plain clothed NYPD officers with bags full of Burberry Purses and one guy in cuffs, the officer noticed the crowd building and asked a young girl if she still wanted to buy a purse and showed her the cuffs as a joke :P

seems they go on raids by brand

and nothings illegal til you get caught
