WTB: Airsoft gun and Side Skirts
I want to buy an Airsoft handgun that loads with a magazine, not a BB, but a Airsoft gun...the one you can just shoot and it wont hurt that much.
I also wanna buy sideskirts for a 92-95 civic coupe, and in good condition.
PM is key.

Well.. if you are looking at getting into airsoft.. You really need to think about how much you want to play, and where you want to play.
There is 3 main types of airsoft guns. Spring, Gas and Electric guns.
Spring being the cheapos that are sold at Crappy tire and stuff. Usually they suck at require that you **** the gun for each shot.
Gas guns are realistic guns and use a gas very simular to propane in each magazine as well as your shots. Most gas guns have full blow back and recoil just like real guns.
Electric guns are the main thing really. They are all the SMG's (for the most part), and Assault rifles. Anything big and automatic!
For a springer, your talking anywhere from 30$ to about 100$ depending on the manufacturer or quality. Crosman and UHC being crap and cheap, while Tokyo Marui being the best springers, performance and looks wise.
Gas gun blow back pistols can range from about 200$ to 600$ depending on, once again, quality and manufacturer. As you go up in price you go into the full metal ones that kick back and give you the same kindof recoil and feel of shooting a real gun.
Electric guns (AEG's - automatic electric guns) are about 350$ up to infinite. The average price of these guns in Canada with all the accesories needed to play the game properly is about 500-600$. You need to get mags, batteries, ammo and a charger, then your set.
*EDIT* I failed to mention 2 other types of guns. They are called EBB's/Mini's and the new Marui Boys series. The mini's are just that.. ultra small, hand-held replica's of full sized assault rifles. They have the advantage of being fully auto and can hold about 70 shots in a self containted gravity feed hopper.
Thats one of the mini series... There is several others as well.
There is also EBB's or Electric Blow Backs. EBB's are 1:1 replica's instead of a mini rendition. They often look very good and have the functional slide as well as the more expensive and often better GBB's. (gas blow back).
The one thing about EBB's is that they are fully semi auto and don't cost too much. Infact, they range from 90$ ish to 100$. The downside of EBB's is they are extremly weak in power and can only use the lightest weight of ammo available .. .12g which gets thrown around in the wind pretty easy. The only EBB I would consider buying is the new Glock 18c from Marui. Its fully automatic like the real glock and looks pretty good (the last pic I posted.)
There is also the new boys series, which just got released this year. The idea is to give people who want to get into airsoft a small, affordable AEG.
there is currently only 2 models in the boys series. The m4a1 and the mp5a5. They are very simular to the fullsize AEG's but they run off AA batteries and are actually about 75% of the full size of their older "brothers". They shoot better then the EBB's and Mini's do and operate off magazine's like the full size AEG's. They cost about 150$ And are available at pretty much any retailer in Canada.
I have a hard time recommending EBB's, Mini's and the Boy's series because if you show up to a game with one, chances are you will be laughed at because the guns have no range, not to much power and they just flat out, don't perform good. They are only good for indoor skirmishes or small backyard plinking.
There is a large group of people who play here in Ontario and Canada. There is games almost every weekend and weeknights at various fields around the GTA. The 3 big fields around here that we play at are Flag Raiders in Cambrige, Deadlands Airsoft in Caldeon or whatever (just north west of Maple), and Wasaga Beach (can't wait for their new field!!). If you want to, you can buy used, or new.. but you HAVE to buy from a Canadian seller. Right now Airsoft is illegal to import due to the mentality of people towards airsoft.
Damn them!
IllestCiv.. Beavers and those places won't carry airsoft, and if they do (Beavers might I think.. ) They will be EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. I seem to recall a thread on ASC Forums about how Beavers had a gun that can be had new for 500 priced at like 800. And everything was almost doubled in price...
Some good retailers and links for Canadian Airsoft:
http://www.airsoftcanada.com <-- This website also hosts Tru-Mart which is a retailer who is from London, ON. Great guy to deal with. This site also has a classified section on their forums for used gear.
http://www.specarms.com <-- Will is the owner and operator of SpecArms. It is based out of BC, but he has wicked prices (I ordered one of my guns from him) and is a cool guy!
[URL=http://www.007airsoft.com/ ] http://www.007airsoft.com/ <-- Another Canadian Retailer
http://www.rangersairsoft.com/index2.html <-- Yet another Candian retailer.
Remeber, you HAVE to buy from Canadian based sellers, otherwise Customs will confiscate your gun and your out your money!!
And some fun pics of me playing at Flag Raiders, airsoft night game.
Me with my Marui MC51. I also have a Walther P99 Springer in my tac vest. You can see it sorta..
Not me, but a cool pic. This was coming up on Dawn of the night game.
Me, once again, telling the other guy where some Evil enemies were!!
Airsoft is a wicked game/sport, simular in ways to paintball, but much more realistic if you will. Its a honosty based game, but everyone who plays through airsoft Canada are great people! If ya want to ask questions about airsoft, there are some great forums at http://www.ascforums.com/ (Currently down as of Sept. 1st, but will be back up soon?)
If ya want to get into it, my recommendation is to come to a few games and rent guns from other players. It will let you know if you like it enough to invest in it!
Sorry for the lengthy post!

I did a quick search on these forums. Back in April, Tanabe was selling his/her Western Arms M92f Beretta!
The WA's are nice. Usually pretty hefty, and with good recoil. Its a gbb (gas blow back). He wanted 260$ for it, which is about right for a used gun, but there is some new to be had for that price too, but not of that quality.
And also.. if you are just looking for a handgun on its own, alot would question your motives.
Don't go f***ing around with them and running around in public. As it is, Airsoft is a game thats becoming nearer and nearer "extinction" in Canada due to morons who try to hold up people and rob places with just an airsoft gun. BE RESPONSIBLE and treat all airsoft guns like a real firearm. Keep it locked away, unloaded and safety's on until you are on the field, or in a safe place away from the public's eye ready to fire. The last thing you need is your neighbor calling in a spotted firearm and the cops coming and shooting you. (It has happened lots! Just search for it in google. there is several documented cases of people being shot and killed by police due to just playing in their backyards with springer-cheapo airsoft guns.) So be smart with it! Don't wreck it for the rest of us airsoft players.
