looking for a factory tape deck to add to my 2000 sir. was hoping that it could be installed in the space in front of my shifter. that's where honda would put it, right?

if anyone has any pics of this installation it would be most appreciated too.

will it work with my current factory deck?

lastly, if it illuminates at all, does it illuminate amber like the head unit (cd player/radio)?

this usually mounts underneath the factory cd player where the open pocket is....it plugs directly to your factory cd deck

cool... but hey doesn't my radio need a TAPE button, or does it just kick into tape mode when you stick a tape in?

i have a factory deck off my 96 Civic EX sedan..

have one too ... comes with cup holder and cover ...
its from a 98 DX if that helps ... it will fit no problem
