u can get the oem insert (just the inside of the grille from a SiR, not the painted part) at honda dealership for approx $75! the oem grille is 2 pieces it'll separate with about 8 small screws on the inside after u take off the bumper and grille!

as i know there is different between SiR and the other civic model, coz the painted part as u described is different between those two models, so u cant just buy the oem insert for the SiR.
