Honda Civic Performance - JDM Discussion Engine tech, forced induction, springs, shocks, brakes, tires, etc.

(88-91 b16a1 swap) says to use 90-93 axles.. but i have 94+ axles can this be done ??

94+ axles will work if you have a 94+ intermediate shaft. If your transmission is a 90-93, you need the 94+ axle seals.

90-93 axles will work if you have a 90-93 intermediate shaft. If your transmission is a 94+, you need the 90-93 axle seals.

If you dont have the right seals, you'll have tranny fluid leaking all over the place.

you need 90 integra axles the 94's havent got long enough splines on the intermediate side and the axle will in effect be too long.

okay so it works then it doesnt ??
the guy who sold em to me Mitoi Auto Parts said it works! i have the Intermediate shaft with my 94 axles

Take em back. Teknotik sell's yonaka shaft's for B16 swap and there under $300 after tax. I bought them for my B16. A little piece of mind since ive seen a few stock axle's mudered on car's with just bolt on's.

They work, but like the others said the 90-93 are the ones that will give u no problems (thats what i had in my ef)

you can use any Integra axles 90-01. For 90-93 axles, use matching era intermediate shaft, 94+ use 94+ intermediate shaft. If the axles are ABS, remove the ring on the hub side.
