For myself, there is nothing loose.
All the bushings are good.
My friends even replaced their bushings, still the same noise.

 

correct me if i'm wrong but is the following set of instructions what you need to do to remove the rear strut?

1. take off tire
2. remove upper strut nuts via car trunk
3. remove bolt attaching strut to lower control arm
4. wiggle strut out of lower control arm

it would be great if anyone can add some tips

 

I think I found it necessary to also drop the LCA to subframe bolt in order to get the shock out. but yeah, you got the idea

 

i got the problem fix now but once in a while i still hear the knocking when i m rolling on the uneven road

the problem that causing the knocking in the first place is the shop didnt put the bushing in the upper mount

 

leaving out a bushing is pretty incompetent. which shop did you go to? i'll make sure i won't go there

 

does anyone know if there is recall from Honda about this??

i have a 99 sedan and the noises started last year and now its getting worse. i got my mechanic to look at it and couldn't figure out what was wrong. i'm taking it back this week to get it worked on so i'll let you guys know if i find out anything.
