anyone thinking of mounting TOYO tires

i recently mounted my new toyo proxy T1-S ultra high performance tires on my hatch and WOW..these tires are amazing even in rain i love them...no more spinning out of control in wet ...those old crap michelins that come on gsr blades are garbage ...

i highly reccomend toyo T1-s to anybody amaing all around tire...now most of my launching problems are gone

I will second Quick_CX's response. I really haven't had much driving on mine but they are great tires.

They are able to handle cornering much better then my previous tires, I highly recommend these tires.

I paid $550 for a set of 195/50/15 Toyo T1-S.

i paid 65$ to mount them...i know thats more $$$ than say COSTCO....but i'd rather spend the extra coin to have them take care of my blades...and not stratch the **** out of them..i paid 480$ for 195-50-15 proxy T1-S...which was a good deal...got them brand new through a friend

Hey I work partime at Costco in Kitchener, we have a touchless installer there = no scratches. $32 + tax

Anyway, my buddy had the Toyo's and they were good till they got really noisy at 50% tread left. Every Toyo I have driven on has been OK then got really shitty and NOISY.

i heard they have okay rain grip, they just tend to hydroplane easier

anyways, i went to the store today, they didnt have any left, so i get them wednesday hopefully. 4x 195/60/R14 for $460, or $99 each before tax.

not bad if you ask me

Azenis are amazing tires for the price.......i mean it's better dry grip than T1-S IMO, and in wet, they still grip, but try to avoid flatter water area at high speed, coz u will hydroplane...LOL.....

they are just like slick, but of coz, slicks are much more grip when warmed up.

I used the T1-S in 195/50/15 as well, and I love them.

JSK,
If you need a set, lemme know. I should be able to hook you up no problem.
