quick and reliable with 87 octane don't mix.. ........It spells KABOOM. Don't waste your money if thats what you expect to run your car on.

quick meaning slightly faster than a stock B18b1 lol. I dont wanna be stupid fast i just want something reliable. Id be willing to fill up with 89 but 91-94 is too expensive for a car im gonna be driving ALOT

b20 sleeves aren't nearly as weak as people think. its usually the tuning that is weak, or should i say lack their of. there are many cars that run oem sleeved b20's with no problems. the problem is usually people overrevving. if you want a reliable b20 (vtec, obviously) you tune, balance the rotating mass, and destroke.

What would be the best thing to do to my B18A1 to get a little more tq and power out of it?

Hey, stick with the stock B18A 1.8L configuration for reliability not worth the B20 building hassle etc.. just for a little more tourque IMO.

Can play with timing and adjustable cam gears for some more TQ.

right now im looking at 3 different options.

1. Just rebuild the engine to stock but have it honed to 81.25 just to make sure the cylinders are straight and smooth

2. Rebuild the engine with ITR or CTR pistons, a set of fairly mild cams with springs and retainers, cheap 4-2-1 header, 3" intake, bored TB, mild port and polish and tuned with uberdata.

3. Rebuild to stock and then do a very mild 5-7psi turbo setup uberdata tuned.

More or less i wanna get some experience tuning just cause i wanna know more about it. But then again i dont wanan be filling up with 91 octane so im leaning towards staying 100% stock.

Ok well the difference in price here is pretty extreme for the options. You got $$$$? If you do choose 3. Uberdata
