Best place to get a lowering job done
Hey all,
Where are the best few places to go in the GTA to get a lowering job done on a '98 Civic hatch ??
I'm thinking I'm gonna go with a coilover kit (and get it properly corner-weighted) and custom shocks.
Any suggestions on good shops to go to for this would be greatly appreciated.
TIA.
Paul

I'm not sure what type of coilovers and shocks I'm going to get yet.
What I REALLY need to know is where are the best places to go in the GTA to get lowering done!! What about Under World Customs, on Harvester Rd? (www.underworldcustoms.ca)

Guy, you drive a civic.
Why on Earth would you waste the money corner weighting each side?
Installing them yourself is very easy. Grab a manual, and it'll take a novice an afternoon to do it.
Very straightforward... theres no rocket science behind it.

Unless someone wants to buy my skunk2's.
I'm going to mate them with tokico illumina's.
I don't see the big issue with coilovers. Measure each side equally, then get an alignment, after that there shouldn't be a problem.

measure your car with a stock suspension you'll notice not every corner is the same hieght... why because it's been balanced when they designed the car .... but hey even for a lark if I find the place that can do corner wieghing I'd be willing to do a before and after comparasion for you ...
what this would involve is driving it at an autocross (driven by me..)
then I'll pay to have the car corner wieghed....
then drive it in another autocross
of course the corner wieghing would be done with you in the car .. but the handling difference is night and day ....seriously I say this because I've seen it....
