why do u keep assuming that i dont know anything about cars lol, compressor oil from RedTek is called oilcharge and it has a certain amount of oil and a certain amount of charge, you subtract the amount of charge in the can. If you were putting in a seperate can of oil without any charge in it then you dont subtract it. Maybe i should have said that in the original post.

this doesn't give a horrible name for the whole trade, its mechanics who rip you off , well anyways, i am done arguing, actually i never even asked your opinion, my a/c is working fine and according to radman, its fine aswell, so i am happy. I will be sure to post a warning if it ever blows up lol.

How does a mechanic rip you off... We have to go to school for 4 years, work for 6500 hours. Invest 50,000 $ in tools and you think we charge too much............ If anything we need to charge more. Nobody complains when a plumber comes to your house and charges you over 100 bucks an hour. There is no other trade taht incoporates more stuff than this one. Plumbing, electrical, welding, hydraulics, hvac... the list goes on. Next time u talk about getting ripped off put yourself in our shoes.

Pretty good article although there are a bunch of things in there that are wrong. Also if your planning on vacuuming your system out you first need to recover the refrigerant in your system which would require you to have the proper canister to recover it too, good luck getting one of those if your not ODP cert.
