cam install

how much would a shop charge to install cam shaft?

a few hundred I'd imagine...prob 2-3 easy if not more

took round 2 hrs . depands on labor rates. Altech charge 150 for it/

depends. What cams are you going to be running? Most stage 1 cams are ok on stock valve springs. But stage 2 and up require stiffer, usually dual, valve springs and titanium retainers.
I am sure that there are probably plenty of people on here, including myself, that would help you install the cams for much less than what a shop would charge. Its pretty easy, all you need really is a couple of sockets (10mm, 12mm) and a torque wrench.
But if you are changing the valve springs you either have to pull the head off or get an expensive tool to remove the valve springs while the head is still on.
