Can a Sir keep up with a rsx type-S

Hello everyone!
I have a RSX type-S right now and i have to sell it its not working out financially for me. So i'm going to get a 2000 civic sir. I'm wondering with the sir being lighterand adding intake header exhaust, would the sir be close to the type-s??? do 2000 sir's come with imobalizers??? and does everyone like their sir? They look so nice

Of course it can keep up!

...in traffic...

I've never seen a race between the two though. It might be able to keep up depending on where you're racing and who's driving, who knows

no it will not

RSX-S should beat it hands down, with the same driver.

Heres some stats

Car-Stats.com Report for 2002 Acura RSX Type-S
Obtained from C&D August, 2001
0-60: 6.1 Transmission: Manual
1/4 Mile: 14.8
1/4 Speed: 95

Obtained from C&D April, 1999
0-60: 7.1 Transmission: Unknown
1/4 Mile: 15.7
1/4 Speed: 88

Si = Sir cdn

Plus the RSX reponds MUCH better to mods

20hp just from an intake is crazy, and do an ecu reflash and you talking

The RSX Type S has 40 more horsepower and 30 more lbs of torque then the SIR and it only weighs about 100lbs more. I think it would be alot faster then an SIR. Take an SIR for a test drive and compar them yourself. I recently drove a Premium RSX and it was WAY faster then my SI.

If you wanna be able to beat a type s instead of a sir buy a dx and do a gsr swap, it will cost you less and you will save on insurance...
