Car on the ground

My car is basically on the ground right now. i don't have any wheel gap, I didnt just scrape on a ramp...nono...I CRASHED into it lol....I might raise my car up a little higher because I hate always worrying about bumps and ****

theres a fine line between practicality and sweet looks.. IMO its around a 2 1/2 inch drop...

ya i dunno mine is pretty low...I have 1.5 - 2 inches ground clearance

that is to low... i have race springs on my hatch... and they sit the front bumper about 4.5" off the ground.... and that is plently low cause i scrap high speed bumps and any enterances to places that are not flat

that worries me greatly... your upper a-arms are prolly bouncing off your strut towers. Have fun replacing your ball joints

then what is a good ride height that looks low, but doesnt scrape on things? my friend has a VW GTI and it is on the ground...always has been and hasnt had any problems

VW don't have upper a-arms... nor does he have any susp travel

2" is low enough.

Do you think that when you drive by and scrape everywhere, ppl look and say "wow that's cool", or do you think they say " what an idiot" ? Do you do it for looks? Do you do it to handle better?

if its on the ground its impossible not to have problems... i mean my car is a solid4.5 " maybe 5... and i scrap all the time.... if only drive on highways then you'd be ok though but low is not good.... it just further messes with honda's double wishbones geometry

I love the look of a lowered car...it looks sick. I can't afford to break anything on it...besides bottoming out, there is risk of damaging the a-arms? I don't know that much about them
