If u have a short ram, its that forsure! if not it could be a clamp on your airbox u fogot to clip... or a leak right before the cat.... its exhaust forsure if it only happens after the car has warmed up nice... somtimes the bolts come loose...

The sound, I think, is from the engine bay. So it is SRI, what can I do to get rid of it? Change to a better filter like K&N?

Nothing u can do about it, its common with the D16y7 throttle body, must have something to do with the upward bent or something...

I have a K&N typhoon system it whistles at 3-4g RPM... Its the Air Vortecies building speed inside the tube, its actually a good sound because spiraling air chreates a better effect in the throttle body... I like to play with the sound, if u shift in the whistle it sounds cool make the best of it, its not a bad thing by any means!

nova.... my car does the same thing, it sounds like an intake whistle, but all i got is stock airbox with resonator removed, and my air filter looks fine, its pretty new. it does kinda sound like a turbo spooling, so i like to joke with my friends that i popped one my car and they are like "really?", then im like no, lol.

the throw out bearing is one of the bearings in the whole clutch flywheel pressure plate assembly....

no man, i still thinks its ur exhaust. If u dont beat up ur car then i doubt its the clutch. Get someone to stand outside and rev it up

mine whistles too from the engine bay.

d16y7 with exhaust manifold crack around the upper O2 sensor.

that's where I place my bets.
