Don't swap distributors, you'll **** up more than you could possibly fix by doing that.

See... if the engine doesn't know you are cranking it (ie. CPS not providing any signal), then it has no reason to send voltage to the ignition module.

Here is a tip: don't get your ***** caught in your zipper, I hear it hurts j/k trying to lighten the mood.
im gonna check that out, why swapping distributors would cause more harm than fixing anything?? they are not just bolt on??

thanks for the tip
my friend was over yesterday bitching how better his '87 "CarbTec" CRX is compared to my car... only reason he was saying it was better was because it can actually run..lol

you didn't like my tip

Tell your CRX buddy to grab a wrench and start doing something or STFU... I hate it when ppl are around me while I'm doing something on the car.

Yes, but by the sounds of it, you haven't done this before, and it DOES **** with your timing pretty hardcore... so if you don't know what you are doing, this isn't a job for you to do. By the sounds of it, you know a little... but a little is just not enough to pull the dizzy... esp considering you don't even know it's at fault Could you imagine if I just bought parts and swapped random parts on my car anytime something was wrong... good god, I'd have like a $100,000 saturn. Lucky you have a bro with the same car, but if you wanna play mechanic, do it right.
