Assuming you have the right computer and distributor, you could have a load problem, we have had a couple cars have the jspec alternator on the engine w/ canadian ecu's and run load code in third or fourth when travelling around 100km/h. But yet we still don't know the engine code, do we?

Can anybody confirm for sure that when the check engine light
comes on the "safety mode" goes in effect for all DOHC V tec series motor...

I've been asking every shop I visit ...and getting no definate answer...
