i know from personal use of the competition clutch their very good, grab nice, clutch pedal dont get to hard, they last very long and their made to be beat on. went to track 12 times this year i always ride my clutch out of the hole, replaced my tranny 1 week ago clutch still looks in good shape.

i've personally seen 2 competition clutches blow up. But that was on a turbo app.
I'm using an exedy on my car, and for the price ($370 tax in) it was a great deal. I've beaten on it for the last 2 years now and have like 40,000kms on it, and it still grabs like when it was brand new.
I've also seen 1 ACT clutch blow up (a friend of mines turbo gsr) but again, that was on a heavily built b18c seeing like 18psi, other than that ACT is also a great brand.

i've had previously owned Exedy and now run the ACT. they are both good. the exedy is very driver friendly and the ACT has a bit stiffer pedal feel. at the end of the day, though...the ACT grabs harder. but my girl prefers the Exedy.
