If it's loud for ya Spleen you need a resonator.

If you've heard my buzzy dual grape fruit shooter, then you'd know. I need a resonator in the thing to get rid of the buzzing but I've opted to redo my piping totally and get a new muffler.

Maybe a resonator would quite it down a bit for ya.

Actually.. I had the resonator removed to make it have more of a deep sporty tone.

Mine doesn't buzz.... it makes a deep tone like how the Aston Martin Vanquish sounds in "Die Another Day".

Except mine is short what.. 8 cylinders and several hundred HP and torque?

I might one day opt for dualies... until that day.. I'll enjoy this sound.

I like it.. it just may be a bit loud for the neighbours.

Just curious... When I have my silencer off.. the muffler doesn't get quite as hot... HOWEVER.. when I put my silencer on... the muffler gets so hot.. it melted part of the rear skirt (a bit)... and even melted part of the metal silencer!!!! Should it do that???

Kent..
give them a call Monday and ask wuss up..
the silencer shouldn't melt..

and get them to drop it a bit too so it's not so close to the rear lip..

look at mine when ya get a chance..it's maybe a 1/2" off the lip and not even a hint of heat damage..

Do you think they'd adjust it for free or would they charge me?

I'm not sure if I should bother going back and stuff to see if they can adjust it..
1. I don't have time.
2. It costs a lot of money just to go there each time. If I do go back.. it'll be the end of march when all assignments are done.

Also.. they offered me lifetime warranty because I paid by VISA... therefore.. if the muffler melts down (cuz the silencer melts..).. I'll get free warranty replacement
