Front Spindle comparison (90-93 / 94-01) Integra

I tried posting this on toronto integras and they know jack squat.

I know there's tons of knowledge on this board so here it goes

Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the 90-93 and 94-01 Integra front spindles?
I got a pair of 90-93 from a JAP place, and I installed them on my car and it drives horrific. I was told that they were the wrong ones (94-01).
So I just want to clarify if they're the wrong ones or not (95% sure they are)
Anyone have any pics or any way I can visully inspect them and determine if they're the wrong ones or not?

thanks

The 90-93 have a wider upper A arm....

like I said, even if you did get the right ones (90-93) your car will continue to drive horrific. I told you that you NEED Civic sedan EX knuckles (88-91) and NOT integra ones. the integra ones are too tall and make your upper control arms point up and throw off your caster angles. not good.

Thanks for the opinion

But I installed the right ones (90-93 integra) and the car runs flaweless. I also know many others who have done this swap and there's no problems at all. Just a FYI.

interesting... did you compare the two side by side (the DA and the DC knuckles?)

I'd really like to know if what I read was true? how is the geometry diff't. when I researched this for my 90 sedan, that's what I came up with... that DA ones fit but were not usable. got any pics of your swap?

OH YEAH.... ALLLLL RIIIIIIGGGHHTTT!!

90+ Integra steering knuckles ARE different from 88-91 Civic/CRX knuckles. Their shape and size will affect all three alignment settings (camber, caster, and toe). The camber will go positive (+), the caster will go negative (-), and the toe will need to be reset since the tie rod end location is in a different place on the Integra units. There are ways of correcting both the camber and caster, but the overall height of the knuckle may cause your upper control arm to hit the underbody on lowered cars.
I have my sources... my memory serves me well after many months of hard drinking.

edit: and it only took 2.5 hours of searching

That's quite interesting, considering that my car runs amazing, the wheels are straight as hell, looks like I put a damn camber kit on the car to straighten them and it runs perfect.
It's also interesting considering that I have 2 friends with CRX's and Integra conversions on them front to back.
Also know another guy on this board with the same exact swap as mine..

Care to share with me the link of that source Bruno?

thx

it's argued that it does, but not noticably. for some ppl, I suppose that's acceptable.
