Got Clear Corners, Now Car Won't Start
I know its a coincidence, nonetheless, the car doesnt start... my poor ek. the engine light came on when i tried to start it the second time this evening, and the starter is fine, but no catch...any ideas?
this is a new engine to the body, its only been really driven a day or so...
if it doesnt magically start working, off to the mech that sold it too me..good thing hes my friend

my mech: "its from japan, its for an si" [he put it in a 93 cx hatch, then the car rolled, then he put it in my 90 hatch]
WTF do i have!

Haha... funny story
first of all you say "my poor ek", but if you have a 90 civic, that would be designated an ef platform.
about your engine, under the head, to the pass side of the exhaust manifold, where the tranny bolts to the block, you'll see a flat area with a code stamped in. What's the code say... how about a pic of the engine?

Seems like you EF is confused ek......perhaps you confused the car and now he doesn't know how to start.
My bet the car engine is a ZC. Does the timing belt cover hit the hood slightly? If so....definitely a ZC.
Oh does it look like this?
