On ClubSi there is a thread that answers most of your questions about the h22a swap in EG/EK. There are aslo some nice pics on CLubSi, they have some nice h22a EG sleepers. Do a search on there and you'll find what your looking for.
Here are some pretty kick *** pictures:
H22 Engine swap
Stock motor stock tranny
Custom turbo kit
AEM Engine Management
RC Engineering Injectors
ACT Clutch
Custom 3 inch exhaust
Apexi N1 turbo muffler

10-11-02 75 shot of NOS ran a 8.6 in the 1/8th on street tires ( No Turbo)

Type-R will cost like $5000+ just for parts.. and you'll still get smoked by an H22.

h22a=200hp and MAD TORQUE compared to type r
i believe h22a is 160tq

its also the driver..im sure a type r would put a good fight and possibly win if you can drive well and reason im sayin dat is because i beat a 2002 si and 97 vtec accord with my 95 4 dr 1.5L!!!! all i got is cold air intake! now thats sad for the opponent! ahah
but yea the 10000 rpm in a type-r is syckkkkk~~!!!

I don't know, but if Type R has 10K redline, isn't it for competition more then the H22A?

Both are nice engines, if you have 6G for a B18C5, you might as well save another 700 to 1000 for a H22A....

DO SOME RESEARCH and see how heavy it actually is compared to an SIR motor. Then think about how to reduce to your weight to match the SIR, it's quite simple!

Type-R would compete with an h22, but doesn't have the same power an h22 provides under lower rpms. H22 has a very smooth power band as opposed to a type-r..
