B18CI.. yeah u just need mounts.. do your research properly with that though.. Find out what driveshafts and intermediate shaft you'll need for those mounts.. Read up on how they sit the motor, because some sit the motor lower than others to releave stress off the shafts. Trust me you will snap shafts if your not careful so every bit of protection helps. Unless of course you buy performance shafts with higher HP ratings.

HCP just builds civic mounts.. check Hasport and ENJO.. Check ebay for mounts too, don't buy home made crap, but look for good brands, you may get lucky and get your mounts for like half price..

in a teg Id say doing anything but h22 is useless cuz the car already produces average power and weighs a lot..

Man it would be so much easier to throw that in a teg too, more room and less wiring. You can use your P72(I think), just chip it with h22 fuel maps.. I think it even has secondary butterflies in there so it's ideal!!

not likely, the g2 was never a platform that took off for swaps due to the extra weight over the rest of the imports... 4th gen Civics are way more pletntiful and way lighter. I personally don't think you'll find what you are looking for.

for the cost of a H22 swap, take your motor to Leitner and have them build it into a 2 liter monster.

ahh i see...
and how much would that cost....around 2 grand???
but i also need a new motor coz the one im runnin has high cliks..
or what about a LS/VTEC? gettin a new motor and hittin up a GSR head on it? isnt that cheaper and more faster?

nope that setup will be slwo as *****....a good ls/vtec setup can only be had my very good machining high compression cams good intake mani and block strenghtening ie a block guard, girdle or positng....or and rods to go with the pistons...so if you want to build a motor up really good then yes ls/vtec but either way it will blow up or run slwo as ****....an h22 in that car will be almost stupid...so heavy....just get a b18c and biuld it up...save h22's for lighter 5th gen's....h22 are the new ls/vtec in the ricer world, "h22 yo so fast vtec h22.....I'm gona get a ls/vtec yo mad fast..." I remeber when ls/vtecs were all anyone talked about .....get a b18 c and build it up...peoepl dont' understand that an h22 swap isnt' a walk in the park the linkage and what not are ****.....and a lsvtec has to be built to the tit's to be realiable and needs big $$$ to maek a honda go fast takes lots' of $$$ if you want cheap retarded speed get a dsm or a mustang 5.0 and mod them....dsm 2000 bux in well picked mods and yoru in the 12's, mustangs your in the low 13's
I"m not tryign to soudn liek an ******* if that's how this comes off

i see..no u not soundin like an ***...u obvie know more than me thats why im asking otherwise id know what to do...
so scratch the ls/vtec coz i dun have the tools and stuff to get a good setup
scratch the h22 as well
so im left with the gsr motor to play with or the torqueless b16a which i can get for like 1 grand....whereas the gsr will cost me 3grand
the gsr should be a direct bolt in is that correct???

yep all be series are direct....you coudl always spend that 3 g's adn turbo charge that b18 or buy soem lumpy *** cams and a gsr tranny or sir tranny and jsut mod the b18b...but a gsr will pul nice in that car...a b16 with i/h/e your looking at 15.5-15.0 in the quarter if your a sweet driver. A gsr is definate mid 14's if you can drive. the best plat forms for that car are the stock b18b with spray, cams or turbo or a gsr with turbo spray or all motor......

i tink ill go gsr all motor that sounds good to me...
one more thing though the gsr is probabaly 94 newer and i believe its hydraulic tranny wheres the teg i have now is cable..
will a conversion be necessary or can i keep the cable? imo the cable is better...

I tihnk u cna get a conversion kit for that.. but it's gotta cost quite a bit... Your better off just buying a 2g gsr, straight swap, change ecu..

Build that up..

ahh i see i never knew there was such a thing as 2g gsr, well i did but didnt know you can pick one up...
wouldnt that be hard to find or what it be the other way around and be cheaper since its a 2g vtec...
im basically interested in a swap with the least amount of custom work or complications and if its the 2g or b16a then so be it and forget the rest, its gona be too costy...
