Thumbs down HELP! Car is HOT

HELP!

Does anyone know what my problem is with my car...
I recently noticed that everytime I drive somewhere there is very warm air coming through the car somehow, anyway it is very very warm by the feet/floor of both the driver and passenger front side. What could this be??? Of course the fan/vents are all switched to OFF... heh....

help?
thanks

what you do is press the button that has the circle with the arrow, so it doesnt draft from the heater. an amber light should be there when its on..always leave it on

unless it's REALLY hot outside letting air circulate in from the outside isnt a bad idea. you get more fresh air that way rather than recirculating old air from the inside.

as long as the temperature dial is set to COLD then the incoming air shouldnt be hot (unless it's 30+ degrees outside)

Well my problem is that a significant amount of very warm/hot air is coming through the floor vents with the slider turned to COLD and the whole vent system turned to OFF. Is this normal?

i dont know how normal it is... mine is just a little... like after a bit you can notice it... maybe one of the flaps that direct the air around is not closing properly??

No it's not normal. Seems like the vent flap for the heater is not closing and air is being heated as it enters. You should feel a little cool air, depending on how fast you're driving, faster you drive more air enters, vice versa. Temperature should be roughly the same as the outside air.
