cuz "slammed" cars don't perform as well as "lowered" cars, which means you are going for more looks than perf... which in some ppls eyes is "ricey" whatever that means.

If the car performs and you are happy with it... then props to you!

If you want to lower your car by 2" then by all means. Just be prepared for scraping the header pipe and your exhaust... If you decide to play with your tire size, then you are obviously not concerned about your speedo being out of wack, and that your engine is turning faster to compensate for the increase in tire diameter...195/50/15 is good, 205/50/15 is better.

My 02..on this..

if you have bigger tires the motor would be spining slower when compared to using the smaller tires

Yes, correct - I should have been more specific, your wheel rpm does drop, but engine rpm increases. How much it increases also depends entirely on the tire height and the differences in ride height between stock and the tire you choose. Not only that, but the speedo can get optimistic by 2% or more.

Peace..

if you use bigger tires the engine will be spinning slower though.... cause each revolution of the wheel it will travel a slight bit more then the smaller wheel....

my muffler is like 6-7" off the ground on my 13" tires and my speedbumps at my complex are huge. I haven't scraped it anywhere else much.
